Hinglish subtitles that match how India actually talks

Upload a reel and get Hinglish captions — Hindi spoken, written in the Roman letters your audience actually types, with English words left as English — timed to every word, in minutes.

What Kool Captions writesAaj main aapko 3 simple tricks bataunga jo sach mein kaam karti hain. 🔥

Why Hinglish needs more than a normal caption tool

Most auto-caption tools are built on English speech models. Give them Hinglish and they either force everything into Devanagari, translate it into stiff English, or mangle the Roman spelling — “matlab” becomes “mutlub”, “bhai” becomes “by”. Kool Captions is tuned for Hinglish: it keeps Hindi in Roman script the way people write in comments and DMs, and leaves English words (“tips”, “viral”, “content”) as English, so the caption reads the way your audience already reads.

How it works

  1. Upload your video and pick Hinglish. Paste your script if you have one.
  2. Pick a style. Every word is already timed — choose one of 56 looks, then fix any word or move any caption.
  3. Export 720p, 1080p or 4K, made right in your browser, ready for Instagram, YouTube Shorts or WhatsApp.

Everything you get with Hinglish captions

Word-by-word timing

Each word appears exactly as it is said — the karaoke style that holds viewers — not a whole line at once.

56 caption styles

Pop-ins, boxed and outlined looks. Pick one, then change the font, colour, size and position.

The key word, emphasised

One word per caption is highlighted — numbers, money, power words — with an optional emoji and a quick zoom.

Paste your script

Have the script? Paste it before transcribing and the captions follow your spelling, timed to your voice.

Cleaner voice, music underneath

One switch removes hiss and room noise and sets the volume Instagram and YouTube expect; add music and it ducks under your voice.

Export up to 4K, or .srt

720p, 1080p or 4K made in your own browser, or an .srt file for any other editor.

Questions

Does it write Hinglish in Roman letters or Devanagari?

Roman letters by default — the way your audience types. If you want Devanagari instead, see the Hindi captions page.

Will it keep English words as English?

Yes. Code-switching is the point of Hinglish — “aaj ka content” stays “aaj ka content”, not “aaj ka vishay”.

Can I fix a word it got wrong?

Every word is editable, and its timing too. You can also paste your script before transcribing so the spelling follows yours exactly.

Is it free?

Yes — 3 free videos with the whole editor, no card. Sign in with Google to start.
